Fundamentals in Permanent Cosmetics

 This is a limited course available to a maximum of 6 students, who will be selected through an application process.
Not all applicants will be accepted and a basic proficiency test in artistic ability must be passed to be considered.
Students will receive intensive  in class and at home instruction, and lots of 1-on-1 attention.  Please refer to the  Training Schedule for upcoming dates.

This is a 100+ hour fundamentals course with a focus on basic brows (powder), lip blush, and lash enhancement.  Microblading and machine stroke brows are NOT included in this course.

Model days are scheduled individually when the student shows proficiency in the hands-on modules.

Students do not receive a certificate of completion until they have completed all 10 days of training including hands on modules, models and pass the exam with a 90% or higher.

Meet Your Instructors

Angela Torresiani, CPCP 
Angela Started her career as a tattoo artist in 1997.  She has worked in Columbus Ga, Tacoma Wa, Stuttgart Germany and her hometown NYC.  She started her permanent makeup journey in 2003 and has since become a permanent cosmetics trainer, speaker, author and is currently president of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals.  Her years as a tattoo artist bring a unique perspective to her permanent makeup training.

Elsa Torresiani, CPCP
Elsa Started her career in beauty as a cosmetologist straight out of high school and had the priveledge of working in high end salons like Saks Fifth Ave and Warren Trichome, NYC.  She comes from a long line of internationally renowned artists and grew up in their art studios, so it’s not surprise that when she found her way into permanent cosmetics she started to specialize in corrections, areola and  scar revisions. She brings her intuitive artistic eye into her work for a unique training experience.

TeachMePMU Fundamental Training  includes a minimum of 100 hours including hands on modules, live model training and home study and practice modules.

This course adheres to the SPCP fundamental requirements.

Please be aware some of the modules are completed online.

A fundamentals course is required for advanced technique classes including microblading.

Please be aware that not all states or counties require formal fundamental training or licensing, however those that do require a minimum of 100 basic hours and most insurance companies also require a basic fundamental course of 100 or more hours. 
Microblading/Microstroking IS in fact tattooing and therefore practitioners are required to have tattoo license, tattoo permits for their business and tattoo insurance.  2-3 day microblading courses are advanced training and should not be taken without a basic fundamental course.  Please consider this before being sold a course like this, as your state/county may prohibit you from practicing this technique and you may not be able to find an insurance company to insure you without basic fundamentals.
