⚠️ Important Training Disclosure

Online learning is a valuable tool for building foundational knowledge in permanent cosmetics. However, it does not replace the critical experience gained through in-person, hands-on training.

Cosmetic tattooing-including microblading, powder brows, lip blush, and eyeliner-is a form of tattooing that involves breaking the skin and implanting pigment into the dermis. Improper technique or hygiene practices can lead to serious consequences, including scarring, pigment migration, granulomatous reactions, or infection.

To ensure safe, effective, and ethical practice, new artists must undergo in-person training with qualified, experienced instructors in a properly licensed facility. This is supported by public health authorities such as the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), which recommends uniform training and licensing standards to protect client safety and uphold industry professionalism.

Completion of any online course does not certify or license you to perform procedures on live models or clients. Please check with your local and state licensing boards to determine legal training and apprenticeship requirements for your area.
